# Plurel

> Plurel is building the future of social finance: one card a whole group funds before the purchase. Once it's funded, it pays the merchant once. Nobody fronts, nobody chases.

Plurel Inc. is based in Los Angeles, California, and is part of the USC + Techstars University Catalyst. Plurel describes its work as building the future of social finance.

## How it works

1. **Start a split.** Name it and invite the group.
2. **Everyone pays their share.** Up front, by Apple Pay, card or bank.
3. **The card is funded.** Then it pays the merchant once.

The group pays together before the purchase: nobody fronts the money and nobody chases friends afterwards. If the pool never fills, everyone is refunded.
